Thank so much, Cadell! I actually want to ask Land about his specific concept of negation, which he called "ferocious negation" and which he opposed to Hegel's concept of determinate negation. I think Land is just getting at the negation involved in annihilation (extinction) from which nothing positive derivatively (dialectically) emerges, but I'd still like to get some clarification from him.
Anyway, I'm really excited to publish my next post on Land, since it's way more detailed than this one, and which should be released within the next few days (I'm currently sitting at a coffee shop putting the finishing touches on it). I'm just getting started on thinking through the contradictions and harmonies between Hegel-Lacan-Žižek and Spinoza-D&G-Land.
